Your pup has been started on Purina Pro Plan Lamb & Rice Puppy Food. This is available from Amazon, Chewy or usually any pet/farm supply store local to you. (I prefer ordering from Chewy! It is easy to add food to an auto-ship & save money. It is also delivered directly to your door)! Your pup will go home with a small bag of food but you should plan to pick some up/have some ordered for when they run out!

Your Puppy has also been getting a small meal of soft food twice a day. (I feed Purina Pro Plan Chicken & rice puppy chiot). I give about 1/4 of a can or so in the morning & night. I recommend continuing this food until your puppy is close to 12 weeks! It helps them eat better while adjusting to their new home & being away from their mama/siblings!
(Soft food does not need to be long term).
!!!REMINDER!!!
Rawhide type chews should NEVER be used because when they soften they can become lodged in a Frenchie's throat. I recommend real bones! Antlers don't splinter and seem to last forever. They are a great chew option to prevent boredom in your new puppy! Here are links to some of my favorites:

Crate training is the BEST thing you can do for you and your pup! A crate gives your pup a secure place or den to call their own. Teaching a puppy early to enjoy their crate will also help prevent issues & stress in the future if they ever need to be boarded / kept at the vet office for a procedure or illness. Crate training is also the best method for preventing accidents or damage when your puppy is unattended.

I always recommend blankets and/or towels that are easy to wash in the beginning for frequent messes while your pup is learning not to soil his space.
However, the Frisco Crate pads work awesome once your puppy is crate trained. I love that they can be thrown in the washer for easy cleaning!
Your puppy should not be in it's crate for longer than 2-3 hours at a time. They are just babies and shouldn't be expected to hold their potty longer than this. If you will be away it is good to have a playpen for them to stay in. (You can add a potty mat and give them access to food/water this way). I free feed my puppies so I also encourage their families to give them adequate access to food/water throughout the day and not only take them out of their crate to potty!
Bell training is my favorite way to potty train. It's an easy way for my dogs to communicate when they need to go ouside (I have 2 young kids so it's not always practical for me to watch for them to sit by the door). I start teaching and working with the bell at around 12 weeks old! If you are unfamiliar with the bell-training method but would like to give it a try there are tons of YouTube videos teaching how to start!
I will attach the link to the bells I use:
I use a faux grass system (starting at 2 weeks old) to help teach pups early on not to spoil their "bed". I have also found that using this grass system helps them recognize where to potty when moving outside! I begin introducing outside potty breaks at 6 weeks old. These potty mats are not a necessity but keeping one in your garage or under a covered porch/patio may be helpful for days it is too cold for your pup outside!
A friend suggested the snuggle puppy that helped her pup in the past adapt to crate training once separated from the litter. I have also used this to put in and help calm the last puppy that leaves my home. The snuggle puppy has an (optional) heat pack and a battery powered heart beat that soothes the puppy. (Lavender essential oil has also been known to help calm pups).
Elevated beds are fun and a great addition to your home or outside exercise area. Kuranda beds are the best and last FOREVER but there are many cheaper brands as well if you decide you'd like to try one for your pup! All of my dogs love them and they are super easy to clean (even in the muddiest Iowa seasons)!

I love Bio-Groom grooming products for all my dogs & puppies! I put together a list of my favorites. Here are the links!
Your puppy will also go home with a folder and packets containing more information about their breed, potty training, medications/vaccinations, and other training recommendations. They will also have a puppy package containing food and other goodies. Welcome to our Royal M Frenchies puppy family!!!
